Privacy policy

PainPoint Daily is a free, public website. There are no user accounts, and we try to collect as little as we can. This page explains what we collect and why.
Newsletter
If you sign up for the newsletter, you do it through a form embedded from Beehiiv. Your email address goes to Beehiiv, which stores and processes it to send the newsletter. Every issue has an unsubscribe link. Beehiiv's own privacy policy also applies.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It doesn't use cookies and only gives us aggregate numbers, like page views and referring sites. We can't use it to identify you.
Submit form
If you use the submit a problem form, we store the text you write, the link and email address if you choose to add them, the page you sent it from, your browser's user agent and the time you sent it. This is kept in Cloudflare KV. We use it only to review submissions, and to reply if you left an email.
Outbound links
Links to other websites, such as the tools we recommend, include utm_source=painpointdaily. This tells those sites that you came from us. Once you leave this site, that site's own privacy policy applies.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes requests (including IP addresses) to deliver and protect it.
Your requests
To see, correct or delete anything you sent us, such as a submission or your email address, write to hello at painpointdaily dot com. More ways to reach us are on the contact page.
